The online shopping trend in Serbia is continuously growing. According to the latest researches, according to Masterindex, even 83% of respondents use online payments, while more detailed figures according to the NBS report testify to the potential of the e-commerce market in Serbia:

  • 9.6 million transactions were created via the Internet, which were paid with cards worth over 250 million euros, which is a 31.29% better result compared to the first quarter of last year.
  • The value of transactions paid by card in EURO currency via the Internet is higher by 74.07%, compared to the same period in 2021.
  • Confidence in the safety of online shopping has increased compared to the previous year and is 55%

These data does not include traffic that was achieved during cash on delivery payments, which makes up 48% of customers.
